Other commentsThe indices from 2011 onwards are calculated according to a more detailed classification compared to the that adopted until 2010 and they have reference base 2010=100 (the previous one was 1995=100). Classification correspondence table and splicing coefficients tables from previous reference base to base 2010, for national and sub national data, can be downloaded by clicking on the ready-made files button of the toolbar or on the link below .
In addition, selecting this button, the table of NIC indices reconstructed in reference base year 2010 for the period 1996-2010 can be downloaded. The reconstruction has been carried out only for analysis purposes. The reconstructed series, as processing of primary ones, do not have legal effects that Italian laws in force connect with NIC indices in reference base year 1995, available on data-ware house I.stat. Furthermore, as consequence of new rounding rules in the percentage change calculation, adopted from January 2011, percentage changes calculated on these series can be different from those calculated using series in the primal reference base year.
